Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Hungary: Q4 2024 Performance

The fourth quarter of 2024 saw interesting trends among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Hungary. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at their performance on a unified platform.

Bolt: Request a Ride witnessed fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 4.5K in early October and peaking at 8.5K by the end of December. The app's active user base saw a significant rise, moving from about 101K at the start of the quarter to 110K by the end.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting from 3.2K and reaching 7.6K by December 30. The active user count showed a slight uptick, ending the quarter at approximately 26.7K.

Oszkar telekocsi maintained a relatively stable download rate, averaging around 450 downloads weekly, with minor fluctuations.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery showed an upward trend in downloads, starting at 282 and increasing to 723 by the end of the quarter. The app's active users grew steadily, reaching nearly 9K by the final week of December.

Careem – rides, food & more had a modest increase in downloads, starting at 243 and peaking at 356 in November. Active users increased slightly, closing the quarter at around 769.
